The Second Annual State of the Western Lake Erie Basin Watershed Conference took place in Adrian, Michigan, on June 26, 2025. This public event brought together community members, researchers, farmers, and agency staff to hear the latest updates on Michigan’s Domestic Action Plan for Lake Erie and efforts to reduce phosphorus in the Western Lake Erie Basin. The conference featured a full day of presentations and panel discussions on topics including water quality and management, understanding nutrients like phosphorus and how they affect agriculture, and social interventions.
