I am an anthropological archaeologist interested in change and variation in small-scale farming communities in the southwestern United States.  I am also interested in the history of museum collections and work to reconnect collections with communities of origin. Public outreach and community engagement with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous descendant communities, are an integral part of my work. I am particularly interested in the ways in which contemporary people, including descendant communities, engage with archaeological sites and museum collections.
