John T. Lehman is currently investigating lower food web dynamics and trophic relations in Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron, and Erie. He has recently conducted field research that included whole lake experiments to control nuisance algal blooms in inland lakes (see http://www.umich.edu/~hrstudy). He has published both analytical and numerical models for river and lake analyses including phosphorus dynamics, nutrient loading from point and non-point sources, internal P cycling, nutrient budgets, lake mixing dynamics, and plankton community composition.
