Ingrid Hendy's interests involve understanding climate change processes particularly in relation to past oceanic circulation. In the context of increasing concern relating to global climate change, understanding the relationship between ocean circulation and climate change is highly significant. Previous research has used faunal assemblages and stable isotopes to demonstrate the great magnitude and rapidity of climate change along the California Margin during the last glaciation.
