This course will focus on the application of didactic content into clinical practice. The student will provide health care to infants, children, and adolescents within the full scope of advanced practice incorporating new content and previous courses didactic and clinical experiences (wellness, common minor health problems, and acute and chronic illness). Students will incorporate into advanced nursing practice the knowledge and skills of pediatric primary health care, a development focus, and theoretical and conceptual perspectives important for the care of children across multiple settings.
