Communicating Science, Health, and Environment

This course develops an understanding of the prevalence, challenges, significance, and applications of communication in science, health, and environment. We will explore theories, models, contexts, research findings, and "real world" experiences in areas such as media portrayals, public opinion, health disparities, science literacy, journalism, marketing, social movements, and citizen science.
