Basic principles which govern the flow of water in the subsurface.  Development and solution of groundwater flow and contaminant transport equations, in presence and absence of pumping wells, for both confined and phreatic aquifers.  Measurement and estimation of parameters governing flow and transport.  Use of computer software for the simuation of flow.
