Theoretical principles, qualitative and quantitative description of suspended growth and bio-film processes, as applicable to wastewater treatment and the bioremediation of soils, sediments and groundwater. Bioremediation processes discussed include bio-venting and bio-sparging, in situ intrinsic and enhanced bioremediation of chlorinated and non-chlorinated compounds.
