The NERRS Science Collaborative is currently accepting applications in response to the 2025 Request for Collaborative Research Pre-Proposals (RFP).

How to Submit Your Pre-Proposal:

Use the “Apply” button above to start a new application and upload your pre-proposal. 

You will need a U-M Account or Friend Account to start an application and submit your pre-proposal. Information on how to create an account can be found here. This is a quick process, but be sure to save your login ID and password.

Once you have logged in, you will need to complete an online application form, upload your pre-proposal, and save your application. The application form requires some of the same information that should be included on your pre-proposal title page. 

You will receive a single confirmation email when you have successfully saved your application for the first time. The email will include a link you may use to return to your pre-proposal submission and make edits until the deadline. Your saved application will be automatically submitted at 11:59pm EST on December 11, 2024.

If you do not receive an initial confirmation email, your pre-proposal was not saved properly and you should resave or contact us directly at [email protected].

Please remember, applicants must submit a copy of their final pre-proposal to the relevant reserve manager(s), i.e., those whose reserves are listed on the proposal.
