The NERRS Science Collaborative is currently accepting letters of intent in response to the 2025 Catalyst / Knowledge Exchange Request for Proposals (RFP).
How to apply:
The application is a two-step process; applicants must first submit a Letter of Intent followed by a proposal. These steps should be completed as follows:
- By 11:59pm EST on December 18, 2024, submit your Letter of Intent (LOI): Use the “Apply” button to start a new application and upload your LOI. You will need a U-M Account or Friend Account to start an application and submit your LOI. Information on how to create an account can be found here. This is a quick process, but be sure to save your login ID and password.
Submitting your LOI requires completing open fields in the online application form and then uploading a PDF of your Letter of Intent. When you have successfully saved your LOI application for the first time, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include a unique URL specific to your application which you may edit until the deadline. Save this email – you will need this URL to submit your proposal.
- By 11:59pm EST on March 3, 2025, submit your proposal: Access your existing application page using the same login credentials and the unique URL emailed to you when you submitted your LOI. From the application page, you can update the fields of the application form and upload and submit the proposal. When you have successfully saved your proposal submission for the first time, you will receive a confirmation email.
At both stages of the application, you may continue to edit your submission until the deadline. At the deadline, your saved application will be automatically submitted.
If you do not receive an initial confirmation email at each of the steps above, your submission was not successful and you should redo the submission or contact us at [email protected].
Please be reminded that, as stated in the RFP, applicants must submit a copy of their final proposal to the relevant reserve manager(s), i.e., those whose reserves are listed on the proposal.
If you have questions regarding the application process, please email [email protected] or contact Maeghan Brass (734-763-0727) or Arianna Stokes (734-763-0056).
