Udo Becker's research interests are in surface and interface reaction, which almost all environmentally relevant reactions in nature or technical applications that involve minerals are. He analyzes the atomic and electronic structures of mineral surfaces and their chemistry and reactivity. In addition to mineralogy and geochemistry, Dr Becker teaches GEOSCI 114: Global Warming.
