As a scholar of environmental justice, my work expands understanding of how city policies and planning enable or inhibit access to clean environments for all residents. Core areas of my research focus on equitable climate adaptation, green gentrification, health equity, Great Lakes stewardship, and homelessness. In each of these areas, my ongoing research seeks a more sustainable and inclusive society.
