Henry Y. Wang's research interests include bio/pharmaceutical quality engineering and bioprocessing for sustainable development. A new paradigm of devising a new sustainable and environmentally sound industry to manufacture various chemicals and products has been advocated here. This requires the development of a new generation of ecologically compatible "cleaner" manufacturing processes through quality by design and life cycle analysis.
