Emily Blenck (she/her/hers) is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Justice and Environmental Behavior, Education, and Communication at the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability. The daughter of elementary school teachers, Emily aims to use her expertise in education and environmental justice to increase children's access to ecosystem services across the Midwest.

Prior to graduate school, Emily served an 11-month term with Green Iowa AmeriCorps, where she acted as a School Sustainability Coordinator and used place-based learning methods to enrich K-12 students' relationship to the environment. She received her B.A. in political science with an emphasis in public policy at the University of Iowa, where she graduated with honors and highest distinction for her academic merit.
