Bridget manages the U-M Graham Sustainability Institute’s co-curricular education programs - the undergraduate Graham Sustainability Scholars program and the graduate Dow Sustainability Fellows program. Inspired by her love of the Great Lakes, Bridget was trained in freshwater sciences at the U-M School for Environment and Sustainability. She then spent 8 years in Davis, CA working in the water and agriculture space and for the University of California, Davis. When she and her family moved back to Michigan, Bridget began teaching and designing Environmental Science and Sustainability courses at Washtenaw Community College where she realized sustainability education was her mission! Bridget’s students inspire her and give her hope for the future. She is also an Environmental Commissioner and a Climate Ambassador for the City of Ann Arbor. Bridget is in her happy place when playing volleyball, foraging for mushrooms, and traveling with her family.
