Arianna is a research associate with NOAA's National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) Science Collaborative. Her work with the Science Collaborative helps support opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, the development of collaborative science resources, program communication, and data archival. Prior to this role, Arianna worked with the Science Collaborative to explore meaningful engagement practices for collaborative science projects across the NERRS network.
Arianna completed a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability, where she studied environmental justice and policy. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Economics from the University of California, Davis. Arianna brings a varied background in environmental research to her current role, with previous experience with science communication, drinking water quality, and the Endangered Species Act. Outside of work, Arianna enjoys quilting, bike riding, and cooking.
