Working in partnership with Washtenaw County, this Graham Sustainability Scholars team analyzed the County Employee Parking Program (CEPP) to determine ecological impacts via emissions. The research conducted compared this program to other municipalities’ parking programs, as well as to the Washtenaw County employee commuting survey. The team developed four actionable recommendations to assist Washtenaw County in improving its parking program. The recommendations revolved around the CEPP health assessment, county employee surveys, and peer program analysis. These deliverables will provide useful references for Washtenaw County in working toward carbon neutrality.
