Evan Chambers is a composer whose work often deals with enviromental issues, attempting to create awareness of the sacredness of trees, water, land, and sky, as well as working to develop audience identification with the local watershed and life He has done collaborations with the Black Swamp Land Conservancy in Northwest Ohio and the Huron River Watershed Council in Michigan; he has also worked with student groups to reduce to zero all lawn chemical applications at the Moore Building and to develop a sustainable landscape architecture plan for the North Campus Gateway.
