The Dow Sustainability Fellows Program is an exclusive opportunity for U-M masters and professional students to take a deep dive into applied sustainability by completing a year-long interdisciplinary team project with an external organizational partner. The program runs from January through December and includes fellows from across campus.

Program benefits include:

  • $25,000 in tuition support.
  • Fellows are placed on a team that includes interdisciplinary students and an external partner.
  • Fellows spend approximately 200 hours total on project work with their team and the external partner.
  • Funding for project travel and other allowable project expenses.
  • Monthly professional development seminars beginning with a Welcome Retreat in January.
  • Symposium in December where Fellows present their project results.
