You are invited to a lunch at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, at Graham Institute North, 214 S. State St. (next to Sava’s).
This lunch will feature a presentation by John Austin, Michigan Economic Center. John is lead author of the recently-released report “Michigan's Blue Economy: Making Michigan the World's Freshwater and Freshwater Innovation Capital”. He will discuss how building Blue Places, Blue Business, and Blue Education and Research excellence can propel our economy forward. More about the report can be found at:
Purposes of lunch meetings are to foster interactions in an informal setting, and to help build an interdisciplinary network of U-M faculty working on issues related to water. Thus, while we are sending this invitation to a targeted list, certainly feel free to forward this invitation to any colleagues that may be interested in attending.
If you plan to attend, please register by September 18. Space is limited so please respond as soon as you can. While the lunch meeting will end at 1:00 pm, we encourage attendees to continue discussions into the afternoon.
