I grew up in the Lake Effect Snow Belt of Central New York State, where I had to help my father shovel snow off of the roof and not finding your car because it's buried in about 4-5 feet of snow meant that you didn't have to go to school that day. (But you'd have to spend all day shoveling). I went to the State University of New York at Oswego where I received a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography and Drawing and enjoyed living by Lake Ontario (even with all of the snow and wind that comes with it). I received my Masters in Fine Arts in Photography at the Pennsylvania State University where I studied historiography, communications, and journalism.
