Nick received his B.S. in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University (2013) and his M.S. in Biology from Eastern Michigan University (2017). During his graduate degree, he performed research on project-based approaches to learning in biology. At U of M, he has been active in emissions reduction feasibility studies, program development and management, technical writing and web content composition, and bench-marking research for a number of UMEI initiatives. He has also been active in energy policy and community collaboration with the Ann Arbor Climate Partnership and the Community Solar Subcommittee.
