Nina Mendelson’s research and teaching interests include administrative law, environmental law, statutory interpretation, and the legislative process. Prior to joining the Michigan faculty in 1999, she served with the Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division, litigating and advising on legislative matters and environmental policy initiatives. She also serves as one of three U.S. special legal advisers to the NAFTA Commission on Environmental Cooperation.
