Jerry Davis’s research is concerned with the changing corporate economy and its impact on society. Recent writings examine the financialization of the economy; the link between finance and politics; the decline of the public corporation; and how ideas about corporate social responsibility have evolved to meet changes in the structures and geographic footprint of multinational corporations. His teaching focuses on creating equitable enterprises for the clean energy transition, focused on Detroit.
His latest book is Taming Corporate Power in the 21st Century.
