Elisabeth Gerber is the Jack L. Walker Jr. Professor of Public Policy, Professor of Political Science (by courtesy) and Research Associate in the Center for Political Studies, Institute for Social Research. Her current research focuses on metropolitan and urban policy, climate change adaptation, land use and economic development policy, and transportation policy. She has written numerous books and articles on direct democracy, election reform, primary elections, legislative process, voter behavior, land use policy and political representation.
