Our Emerging Opportunities Program offers an array of collaborative and engaged research and assessment opportunities responsive to the interests of faculty, external partners, and stakeholders, and emergent sustainability challenges.

Water Center

Our Water Center engages multi-disciplinary expertise to improve ecosystem restoration success—science, management, and policy—in the Great Lakes and in national estuaries.

Climate Center

Our Climate Center hosts the Great Lakes Integrated Sciences and Assessments (GLISA) program, which bridges gaps between producers and users of scientific information to facilitate smart responses to climate variability and change in the Great Lakes region.
