Graham Institute Seeking Applications for Doctoral Fellowship Program on Sustainability

Monday, September 12, 2011

The Graham Sustainability Institute is now accepting applications and nominations for its 2012 Doctoral Fellowship Program, which offers up to $50,000 in funding support and inclusion in a vibrant "Community of Scholars" to exceptional Ph.D. students conducting interdisciplinary research related to sustainability. A key part of the Fellowship Program is that it is multi-disciplinary in nature, so the Graham Institute is encouraging doctoral students from all schools, colleges, and units to apply.

A total of six new doctoral students will be accepted into the Fellowship Program this year. The deadline to apply for the 2012 cohort is October 15, 2011. Students must submit an "Intent to Apply" by October 1, 2011. This triggers a nomination letter request to faculty advisors. NOTE: Students can only be nominated by their dissertation advisor, and each faculty member can nominate only one student per year.
