Former U.S. Assistant Attorney General Joins Graham Institute Advisory Board

The Graham Sustainability Institute recently named Attorney Lois Schiffer to its External Advisory Board (EAB). Formerly a partner at the law firm Baach, Robinson, & Lewis, Lois now serves as General Counsel for the National Capital Planning Commission and as an Adjunct Law Professor at Georgetown University. From 1993-2001, Lois was the Assistant Attorney General for the Environmental and Natural Resources Division at the U.S. Department of Justice—with responsibility for litigation on behalf of all federal agencies related to pollution, natural resources, wildlife, certain Indian issues, and land condemnation. She has argued cases before a number of Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Lois resides in Washington, D.C..
