2013 GLISA Symposium

The annual GLISA symposium brings together some of the leading experts on climate adaptation from the Great Lakes region and beyond. This year's event will focus on the role of boundary organizations in adaptation to climate change and variability. Boundary organizations bridge the divide between information producers (scientists) and information users (policy- and decision-makers).  Speakers include:
*A keynote by Adam Parris, Manager of NOAA's RISA program
*Presentations on GLISA-funded projects at organizations in Michigan, Illinois, and Ontario
*A panel discussion featuring Maria Carmen Lemos (U-M), Ken Frank (MSU), and Christine Kirchhoff (University of Connecticut)

A reception (with light refreshments) will follow the symposium. (Click here for live-stream webcast option; pre-registration required.)
