Dow Fellows Program
Through a $10 million gift from the Dow Chemical Company, the University of Michigan offers a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary fellowship program spanning the Masters, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral levels. Administered by the Graham Institute, the Dow Sustainability Fellows Program will support and train nearly 300 sustainability leaders over a six-year period.
This unique program also features the Distinguished Awards for Interdisciplinary Sustainability competition, which provides interdisciplinary project teams up to $100,000 to implement their sustainability project ideas. At U-M, the distinguished awards will replace the Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge Award (SISCA), which the Graham Institute has administered since 2009.
