Building Systems

ARCH 527

This course focuses on the analysis of building costs, the integration of structural and mechanical systems, the development of material assemblies, and the synthesis of building components and systems at the outset of the design process. This comprehensive approach to the design process will be supported by case study examples that identify integration strategies with regard to life safety codes, building services, and construction technologies.
