Biology of Sex

BIO 116

Biology of Sex --- Sex is not universally used by living organisms for reproduction.  When and how it evolved, and the various mechanisms in which it operates is a primary concern for most biological disciplines.  This course will cover the origins, mechanisms and implications sexuality has for biodiversity.  The human aspects of sexual biology will be examined in terms of how we fit into the concepts.
