ntroduces students to the diversity of mammals. Through laboratory exercises (one four-hour laboratory period/week) and lectures, participants will have an opportunity to see and learn about species representing all of the major groups of mammals. We will review their evolutionary history; examine their adaptations and lifestyles; and discuss current research in ecology, behavior, zoogeography, and systematics. An optional text supplements the lectures.
