Planet Blue Student Leaders 2016-2017


Apply to be a Planet Blue Student Leader. This will be a paid part-time student position. To be a part of this unique, innovative effort you must agree to spend approximately 3-5 hours per week on Planet Blue Student Leader work such as peer-to-peer engagement, working with staff to implement sustainability projects, and attending paid training and group meeting sessions.

In return, you will gain hands-on experience with sustainability projects on campus and be trained in leadership and communication skills on how to effectively engage others in sustainability. Students from all majors and schools/colleges are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference is for applicants who will live in University Housing during the 2016-2017 academic year, but exceptional off-campus students are welcome to apply.

Early applicants will be given priority consideration:

Returning students: Apply by May 25, 2016 for priority consideration.
Incoming freshman: Apply by July 20, 2016 for priority consideration.
